RFC RULES
1a. STATS
Everyone will get 80 points to start out with to distribute how they like among the following categories:
CON = Conditioning
EFF = Efficiency
STR = Strength
SPD = Speed
AGG = Aggressiveness
PUN = Punching
KIK = Kicking
CLN = Clinching
TKD = Takedowns
SPW = Sprawl
GPO = Ground Positioning
GST = Ground Striking
SUB = Submissions
KIL = Killer Instinct
INR = Intelligence & Reflexes
TGH = Toughness
HRT = Heart
Each point is worth 1 point in any category. You may put half points into categories. However, no stat may go higher than 6 and no lower than .5. There will be a 3 point modifier for TGH. This may seem like we're cutting fighters off at the knees a bit here, but we're looking to have room for you guys to build and improve. If we start you off too high you will hit the wall after a very small amount of training.
All Stats will max at 9 except tgh which will max at 12 (mod inc)
At 115 points there will be no more free training. You may only train .5 for a win
1b. STRATEGIES
-This is what you guys all filled out the first time. This dictates how frequently you do much in each fight. I am not putting restrictions on this, however I do know what unbalances this simulator and if I catch anyone trying to "break the system" I will NOT be happy.
1c. TOGGLES
Each fighter has toggles they can adjust in the beginning of each fight that will effect their Aggression and Power. They are set up as follows:
Aggression/Defense (50% total)
Power/Technique (50% total)
These toggles can be changed every week.
1d. ADDITIONAL FIGHTER CREATION RULES
-Each player is allowed TWO fighters. You may create two fighters if you wish but no more. Your fighters must:
a) be in two different weight classes
b) be listed in your sig
c) if you are on a team, both of your fighters must be on the team. You cannot be a member of more than one team. (All of you IFA guys know that I can be a real bloodhound about cheaters, so please don't try me.)
-Each fighter's profile will be kept a secret and will not be revealed unless he decides to share it with his team.
-"Spying" on other teams will NOT be tolerated, sharing fighter's profiles with opposing teams will be met with an IMMEDIATE expulsion from RFC. We will be keeping a very close eye on the team forums to make sure this and things like it do not happen.
- You must sign up on the forums to be in the RFC. You will not be booked in the RFC until you sign up on the forums. Period.
- YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR FIGHTER FORMS. Once you send in a form make a copy, because if you lose it you may not be given another one, so keep track of it and your training as it goes along.
2. TRAINING
Training will be due every other Monday. Due dates will be listed on the board calender.
You may only train 1 point in any particular stat per week. This will allow you to improve but also give up and comers a fighting chance.
Each week you'll be given .5 for free and .5 for a win. After you reach 115 points you will only recieve .5 for a win and no free training.
INJURIES- From time to time your fighter may become injured during the course of a fight. The only injury that will count against you is one that the sim deems "serious" In the event of a serious injury you'll forfeit any points you may have accrued during that week and you will have to sit out that with out training. There will be no other penalties.
3. TEAMS
As of right now the benefit of teams is simply the strategy and a cheering section. Being on a team doesn't have any effect on the mechanics of the game.
4. FIGHTS
4a. OFFICIAL FIGHT RULES
- Fights will take place in a ring.
- Each fight consists of two ten minute rounds. Title fights will consist of three ten minute rounds.
- All Pride FC Rules will apply.
- Champions will be required to defend their titles once every two weeks.
4b. RANKINGS SYSTEM
We will be establishing a rankings system that will determine the top five fighters in each weight class. This will determine who gets a title fight, and bragging rights. Fighters may request specific fights with other fighter and will likely be granted them if both parties agree and it is a non-title match. However. Title fights will be based on the rankings system ALONE and Title holders are not allowed to just hand out title matches.
The ranking system will be based on a combinations of wins, how the fight is finished, and the caliber of the fighter's opponent. Example: If the #2 ranked fighter is fighting very low ranked guys and willing, but the #4 ranked guy is fighting very tough competition and losing decisions. #4 will go up and/or #2 will go down.
Only a ranked fighter may challenge for a title. period
5. OTHER
-This isn't a rule so much as a suggestion, the more active fighters are the ones who will get booked more. If you want to get more fights simply be more active on the forums. People who do not post tend to be overlooked.
- The most important rule of all: HAVE FUN!
If anyone would like to comment on any of these rules or any others in mind please let us know and we will discuss them. This is not written in stone and some things may change over time. Thank you all for your support and the RFC staff hopes it can give you the most enjoyable experience possible.
