Derek beat Norbert, then Thiago, two champs, then he beat Devin and Danilo (Danilo is good enough to be a champ and Devin is a champ.).

Devin Rand: This surely makes Derek Thompson (don't forget about Derek Rand!) the number one p4p fighter here. Much respect to him.

I just do what I do and it does what it does til it gets done. There ain't no question about whether Derek Thomson can fight. We know Derek Thomson can fight. But the question is can that playa dance? The answer: like nobody's business.
Norbert busted me up pretty good in my first fight. Gave me some motivation for the rest of them, had to get my ass out of the ring before I bled out. I haven't bled that much since that time I was shot. Hunting accident with Cheney. That's why I had to sub you fools out instead of pound you. Couldn't see well enough to hit you, so I just grabbed onto something and tried to pull that sucker off.
I beat the best of the best in this tournament and showed I ain't got no time for the rest. So what have we learned from WCVT 1? You don't want to fight Derek Thomson. Ya heard?
((ooc: Hilarious Highlight of the Nightt: Braga arguing to continue the fight then about 10 seconds later verbally submitting))
