IM A WINNER!!! YIPPY!!! and Colm, you can use all of it, but you can not use more then one point one stat. You can use all your points on multiple things up to a point on each. If that makes sense!

Sherdog spoke with Devin Rand following WCVT 1 about the tournament, his future, and other things
Sherdog: Devin you came in tonight as a Welterweight, yet all your bouts were against Heavyweights, you were able to defeat three, but lost in the semi-finals to Derek Thompson. Are you happy with your performance? Devin Rand: I'm very happy with it. I went in there and I think I did what was expected of me. I do wish I would have beat Thompson, but that guy is just too good for me at this point.
Sherdog: What was the gameplan against Thompson? Devin Rand: I like using the clinch to control my opponents, but Derek was too strong for that. Especially since it was my fourth bout of the evening, when my strength was low. I wanted to clinch and land some strikes, but obviously it didn't happen. He was able to get me down and get the sub, major props to him as it's the first time I've been submitted here in Rings.
Sherdog: All your wins tonight came by submission, which probably wasn't expected. Was that part of the gameplan? Devin Rand: I always have had a decent ground game, it has never been my biggest strength but recently I've invested a lot into it because I know that's where guys could possibly beat me, like Derek did.
Sherdog: What is next for you at Welterweight? Devin Rand: Well I'm taking a while off, the next fight should likely be at RFC 11 I am hoping. I'm pretty sure that it's going to be against the winner of Miles and Beowulf. I'll be watching that fight closely. I'm not trying to think too far ahead here, but I am interested in fighting out of my division if there is no contender ready for a title shot. So if your listening Shooter...I'm open for any Lightweight or Middleweight bouts! *laughs*
Sherdog: Thanks for the time Devin Devin Rand: Thank you

Devin Rand: I would be up for a superfight as quick as RFC 11 if you want. I honestly am not looking for a rematch with Allen, I want to give him some good time before a rematch. I want him to come prepared next time. I've fought that guy too much lately, just looking for someone else in the mean time.

I have a title fight at 10, but I would be willing to pull some sort of super fight against Rand. But that's up to Shoot and Devin...

Ah, I thought I was controlling that fight for a while, until I was taken down to the ground. I got caught, badly. More motivating material up on the bulletin board I guess. Congrats to Colm for the victory.

I don't want any easy fights. I accept your challenge, now it's up to Shooter. I would agree to fighting at RFC 10 even, but still, up to Shooter. RFC 11 would work too, since that would give the WW's some time to train for me.

I'm disappointed I went out so early, but I guess it's nothing I can't fix in the gym eh? I just hope it isn't a foreshadowing for next week...

Me and Devin Rand, the two guys that got beat by Thompson in the last two rounds. I'd accept that fight too. It would be a good Middleweight catchweight bout, if you could make the cut. I wouldn't mind fighting to a weight disadvantage though, even if you came in at 205lbs, I'd still take the fight. I just want a good fight, like I've been saying. I'm open to any solid contender in any weight class.
